Blogs as Teaching Tools

In this class, I learned that blogs can have many different uses in the classroom. They can be used as a way to communicate information to parents as far as assignments. Also blogs can be used as a way to evaluate students. For example, there could be a class blog where students could each be responsible for different topics throughout the year where they would have to write a summary on the subject. Also there could be individual student blogs, where students would have to respond to questions or provide a summary pertaining to a particular topic. Either would allow you to see whether or not a student had grasped the idea.
